After an extensive refurb, the Brigade restaurant (set in a Grade II-listed fire station) is re-launching on 8th November. Here you can sample some great food and give your social conscience a boost (the Brigade has partnered with leading homeless and education charity Beyond Food Foundation). The signature dishes include dry aged 1kg Cornish Beef Tomahawk with fresh horseradish, served with smoked bone marrow butter, chimichurri and salsa verde; whole ash roasted sweet potato, crème fraiche, pomegranate & walnuts and the classic sticky toffee pudding. Feeling a bit more adventurous at brunch? Try the buttermilk fried chicken and waffle, Burford Brown fried egg, sriracha, maple & pickled chili or even the decadent 'Beef Dip Sandwich' created with 32-day dry aged Cornish roasted rump, with black pepper onions and hand cut skin-on chips.
