Tried and Tested: Little Smoke, City

Last night we had an excellent dinner at Little Smoke...

The sirloin steak was "one of the best I've ever had" (high praise) and the roasted celeriac was out of this world. Seriously. Vegetarians are well catered for with an abundance of side plate options, which can be ordered as a main. Meat is sourced from small farms in England, and the daily specials board offers a huge array of interesting cuts.

Top tips: Go for the first sitting at 7pm to get the best choice of the daily specials... and don't wear a white shirt.

The minor wobbles in the service (to be expected - this is a soft launch after all) were admirably dealt with. And we had Negronis on the house, which always helps.

Conveniently located for City types, Little Smoke do a 20 minute lunch with smaller portions of the meat on their daily menu (making it a good option for a quick lunch).

I'll let a few pictures do the talking...

Get there quick - the soft launch ends on Friday!
